Grey Cases Contributor Guidelines

Grey cases are designed for dermatologists, fellows, and residents to discuss cases with diagnostic difficulties. They should be concisely written in the English language.

Components:

  • A brief history
  • Photo(s)
  • Questions

Participants are reminded to be respectful and cordial to one another and avoid personal attacks in any form.

Consent:
Notice of informed consent and releases to publish photographs of recognizable persons should be submitted with the manuscript. Informed consent is recommended to be documented and signed on the official ASPD patient consent form for publication. However, if this is not possible, informed consent can be documented on the author’s institution consent form for publication.

The cases are subject to review by ASPD Hotspot editors.
